Regent Tweet.

So after seeing on twitter someone tweeting about something called regent tweet I obviously was intrigued. After clicking on the link shown it sent me to the homepage of Regent Tweet.

"REGENT TWEET IS AN EXPERIMENTAL SHOPPING AND LIFESTYLE EVENT THAT ENGAGES REGENT STREET'S FASHION AND LIFESTYLE SHOPS, BARS AND RESTAURANTS WITH ONLINE INFLUENCERS."

So sounds good so far. After entering some of my details into the signup section, I didnt think I'd hear much else from it... SO glad I was wrong! 

Around a week ago I heard back from the event, telling me my application had been sucsessful and I had been invited to the event! So I was still somewhat clueless about the event- I then logged onto the site and all was explained!

"Regent Tweet is an experiential shopping and lifestyle event for women that engages Regent Street’s fashion and lifestyle shops, bars and restaurants with online influencers. The itinerary includes lectures at the Apple Store, workshops and many opportunities to receive complimentary products and experiences. The SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ Lounge and Concept Store will serve as the Regent Tweet Hub, where you can tweet and blog to your heart’s content and relax."

I admit my heart soared when I heard the workshops and the complimentary products and experiences! Honestly if you offer that to me I'd travel across the world to receive them, so travelling from Greater London  to Regent Street wasnt a biggie for me!

I then had a look at the scheduele and my heart soared. Heres some of the key event on the site!

•  Registration at the SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ Lounge.
•  Brief introduction of the day, as well as a special presentation by Arwa Mahdawi, Professor Christopher Riley, followed by Sadhna Jain and Marek Kultys.
• Start your day by enjoying a complimentary cup of coffee and pastry, in the stylish surroundings of tibits, Heddon Street, W1. 
• The first 50 girls who present their card at UGG Australia, 10 Glasshouse Street and tweet a picture of their favourite item in-store using the hashtag #IheartUGG will receive a pair of UGG Australia flip flops and can enjoy a complimentary pedicure
• FOUR London are offering the chance to experience a unique ‘Cuticle Glossing Treatment and Blow Dry’ for ‘camera-ready hair’ between 10am – 4.30pm.
• From midday until 1.30pm AQUA are offering pre-lunch cocktails and a selection of tapas on the small terrace and back area of aqua nueva. Come and enjoy amazing food, breathtaking views over London and stylish decor – an unforgettable experience to share.
• Whole Foods Market Piccadilly Circus offers all Regent Tweeters lunch on us! Everyone will receive a free £10 gift card as well as a ‘tweet treat bag’.
• We are offering Regent Tweet bloggers the chance to sample our delicious cocktails and experience one of our cocktail masterclasses that will run from 2pm until 5pm [at The Living Room W1]. Come and learn where our cocktails begin and let our boys show you their flaring talents... 
• Come down and enjoy a complimentary Martini [at Dirty Martini] from 4pm – 8pm.
• After enjoying the Regent Tweet day on Regent Street we invite you to Base Camp for the culmination of your amazing day with a chance to walk away with some stunning prizes.

And thats just some of the days activities! To say I was excited was not even close!

Anyway the day finally came and I trecked (got the train) to London and met some of the other attendees who were all totally gorgeous and amazing! The two girls I mainly hung with were Liz and Melinda (click on the names to see their blogs/sites!) Luckily they had both attended before so had more of a clue about the going's on than I did! After registering we were giving a Regent Tweet bag with the cards you provide to shops to confirm you are involved in the event, a discount card for the future, a DVD by Professor Christopher Riley and the £10 food voucher for Whole Foods!

What I'd call the Badass cam! From what I understood it sends out a light ray to ruin the picture- I saw ruin but its not nessecarily ruining, its adding an image over the top (good for product placement etc).

My favourite Swarovski Bracelet in the treasurehunt! Every item with the star in the corner was involved and we had to take a picture of our favourite and make up a slogan involving the word sparkle! (I didnt win. "Keep calm and sparkle on" did!)

East India Company LTD Store!

Me in my favourite Reiss items! That jumpsuit was amazing, so nautical style! We had to tweet the outfit, with #RegentTweet and at @Reiss to the tweet to be in with a chance to win £100 of Reiss vouchers! (this didnt go to plan as such, I dont think the winner even did tweet an outfit? Confusing times!)
