D to the I to the WhyohWhy

I know I said a while ago I'd be doing some DIY posts - I just never got around to it!
In some cases, its not as easy as it looks and in others not as hard! However finally doing one - I didnt take images throughout like I should have but its that easy even for me (if I can do it anyone can).
Being the nice girl I am also I kinda did two in one! Hope your guys enjoy this DIY tutorial..

First up bag one! View images and if you like carry on reading for instructions!

Bag 2

Equipment needed.

AND SCISSORS AND A SAFE PLACE TO DO THE SPRAYING
((Don't do a Sophh and do it on the patio. Doesn't come off. Kinda have lilac spray paint on the floooor..))

Bag one:
-Select a bag (preferably plain) to DIY and gather equipment above.
- Use the tape to cover the areas you don't wish to be sprayed. Then literally just spray them! You can do it as one thick layer of paint like me, or more thinner layers (more advisable).
- Allow this to dry
- remove tape from areas you covered
- make sure the paint hasn't got on these covered areas - hint nail polish remover may work!
- For the finer details/ more awkward ones I used the nail polishes above- it gives a really shiny finish! I did the edging, the bow and the handle in this, but you can do more or less - up to you!
- Allow this layer to dry and if necessary do another coat
And it genuinely is that simple!

Bag two:
-Select a bag (preferably plain) to DIY and gather equipment above.
- Use the tape to cover the areas you dont wish to be sprayed. For this I used it in stripes as you can guess, and did it one side at a time, allowing it time to dry, meaning you can lay it on the floor too! Then literally just spray them! You can do it as one thick layer of paint like me, or more thinner layers (more adviseable).
- Remove the tape.
And thats it! Seriously!

For both the tutorials/ guides you can follow them heart to heart, use different colours, or techniques, do different patterns - it really is your choice! If you decide to follow this tutorial please send me pictures of the designs - I'd love to see them!

Oh and before I go - how amazing is that charity shop bag! for 50p you genuinely cannot go wrong!
And one more thing- when I went away for the weekend I took the second bag. Everyone loved it! Definitely my favorite of the two!

Love,
Sophh Elizabeth.

Wow how good are you?! Love the first one. I tried to undo the bow on my Irregular Choice bag last week and I can't even tie it back up!
